Jesse Jesse is going to be a spoiled prince by his new mom and dad who are retired and looking forward to spending lots of time with him.
Jetta Jett got a great home with a retired lady who has another little yorkie jett loves and they all go for a two mile walk every day!
Jack Jack was from the 29 Palms shelter which is essentially a desert with a large military base. Dogs there don't have much of a chance getting adopted by anyone other than the military and it's a vicious circle for them being adopted only to get dumped back in there when the owners are deployed and/or can no longer care for them. Jack is one of the unfortunate ones who was on round 2 there. He became very depressed and spent months there with no interest. Fortunately someone brought him to our attention and although he's definitely a "buddy," you couldn't find a better one. This sweet guy now has a wonderful, large forever family to love him and reassure him that he'll never be in a shelter again.
Jack Jack was on his last days at the shelter. Unfortunately there's not enough people that realize how special senior dogs are. There's more concern over the quantity of time rather than the quality and no thought as to what's going to happen if no one adopts him/her. Fortunately for Jack his new mom recognized what a special guy he was and understands that each day is a gift for every living being - there are no guarantees. Finding homes for seniors is my biggest joy in rescue. Click a letter to find an animal or view all.
