I'd love to be your buddy!

Jack is a darling little Bichon who's about 3 years old and weighs about 10 pounds.  He was surrendered to the shelter by a family who reported having him about a year.  It's unclear what the reason was but poor Jack was petrified in the shelter and very skiddish.  Once we got he out of there he was slightly better but it's obvious he needed a lot of  TLC and reassurance.  Fortunately for Jack a new volunteer offered to foster him for the weekend.  After ONE DAY the transformation was incredible.  He was a happy smiling dog (as you can see in these pics!) although he's still timid with strangers and squirmy when first being picked up.  With his foster mom he is a comfortable with her as a dog who's been cherished by his owner for the last 10 years.  The ability for him to have such a drastic turn around with just 24 hours of love and nurturing just proves that this little guy will blossom into a wonderful devoted companion in no time.  Jack will be best in a quiet adult only home.
