I'd love to be your buddy!

Brooke is a darling little Spaniel who's about 10 months old and weighs approximately 12 pounds.  She was being turned in to a shelter as our volunteer was there picking up some new dogs we pulled.  Fortunately we were able to intercept her before she entered the system.  Poor Brooke was scared to death and who could blame her.  Because her owners "didn't have time" she almost entered a place where less than half make it out alive.  Brooke is a gentle, affectionate pup who loves to be held and lays her head on your shoulder.  She certainly has her playful side and enjoys playing with stuffed toys.  Brooke gets along great with other dogs and is good with kids and is socially well-adjusted.  She just needs a loving home where she never has to worry about being dumped again.
