I'd love to be your buddy!

Baloo is a gorgeous cockapoo who was the West Valley shelter where he came in as a stray on AUGUST 5 – yes – TWO LONG MONTHS in the shelter wondering what he did to end up there and why nobody was coming for him.  This poor guy eventually ran out of time which is when he came to our attention.  Baloo finally got his freedom and a chance at a new life.  He’s about 3-4 years old and weighs 18 pounds.  He’s a very mellow, quiet boy who has a zen-like temperament and would prefer a home similar to his personality.  He co-exists with dogs just fine but doesn’t really engage – he’d be just as happy as a solo companion.  Baloo is affectionate and responsive and a quick learner.   He’s great on the leash and loves to go for leisurely strolls and enjoy the flowers.  He’s the perfect dog for someone looking for a devoted mellow companion.
