I'd love to be your buddy!

 

Mack is a handsome, happy lhasa/bichon mix who’s about 2 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. Max is lucky he has a guardian angel looking over him or he would be pound-bound. We’ve all heard stories of how dogs can find their way back home from several miles away. Mack proved what a devoted, smart dog he is when he found his way back home after his callous owner dumped him out of the car miles from the house! He could have cared less if Mack got run over or eaten by a coyote. He just didn’t want him. A compassionate neighbor learned of this despicable act and took Mack for safekeeping until he searched out a rescue group to take him in, refusing to just dump him at the shelter. The resilience of dogs is truly amazing. Mack is just a love-bug who is totally trusting and happy as can be. He is outgoing and well-socialized and obviously super smart and devoted. He’s great with other dogs and kids and is excellent on a leash. Unfortunately we had to shave Mack down since he is matted to the skin but Stacy, our extraordinary groomer, was able to make him still look handsome.
