I'd love to be your buddy!

Betty is an adorable little Shih Tzu mix who unfortunately was turned into the shelter due to the owner moving.  She's 6 years old and weighs 13 pounds.   As you can see from the before pic, her coat was a mess but her stellar personality was intact.  She is very affectionate and loves to be held.  This little princess is calm and demur and is a quiet girl.  She's very attentive and smart and is housebroken.  Betty is good on the leash and is calm when passing other dogs and people although right now she seems a little shy which is understandable considering all the change.  Betty gets along well with other dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in the house.    Because she has such a chill temperament and is calm, she would be good with kids, however, very young kids may scare her so older kids who are respectful of animals would be best.  Betty is spayed, has all her shots and is microchipped.  If you're interested, please fill out the adoption application on our website bichonsandbuddies.com.
