Ella is a 2 year old Malti-Poo who weighs 11 pounds.  She was brought into the shelter as a stray and had a large wound on the top of her head which the shelter treated and has healed.  Poor Ella was very scared and nervous when we got her out of the shelter but has started really blossoming the last few days.  She's in a loving foster home and has bonded quickly with the female of the house however is still cautious but receptive with the male.  Ella is super affectionate and loves to be by your side and soaks up all the love and attention she can get.   Ella gets along well with other dogs however doesn't really interact with them.  She is excellent with little kids.  She's not a barker.  Ella just needs some time to build her confidence and learn to trust men again.  She'll make a wonderful devoted companion.
