I'd love to be your buddy!

Ginger was turned in to the Lancaster shelter by her owner.  There was no reason given, but one thing is for sure:  It has nothing to do with Ginger's behavior.  She's one of the most bubbly, funniest dogs I've ever met.  She's 6 years old and a chunky 18 pounds.  Who knows what she was being fed but whatever it was it was WAY too much and problably not good quality.  She definitely needs to lose some weight.  She loves to go for walks so that will shed some pounds quickly in addition to being fed the right amount.  Giner loves everyone she meets and is a gregarious, fun-loving girl.  She loves exploring new areas and is great in the car.  She gets along well with other dogs and is good with kids.  Ginger doesn't have a mean bone in her body.  She has a spunky personality and is always happy.  Ginger doesn't have any separation anxiety and is not super needy.  She loves to be with her person and cuddle but she's not a Velcroe dog.  Ginger was pretty matted so she had to be shaved down but our groomer gave her a glam look to help focus on her gorgeous face.   If you want a super sweet, funny pure-bred Bichon, Ginger is your gal.  She has all her shots, is spayed and microchipped.  Please fill out the adoption application on our website if interested.  Bichonsandbuddies.com.
