I'd love to be your buddy!

Tilly is a Maltese/Terrier mix who's about 2 years old.  Tilly (along with 4 others) is lucky to be alive.  She was one of 5 found in a dumpster in an industrial area.  Fortunately Tilly is healthy and we've gotten her spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.  She was initially terrified but never once tried to snap.  In fact, once you had her in your arms she would nestle in sensing that she was safe and loved.  Tilly has been blossoming slowly and learning to trust.  She soaks up affection when she's being held and it's clear she is equally loving but just needs a patient person to help her adjust.  Dogs are incredibly resilient and there's no doubt that Tilly will quickly become a well-socialized loving little girl.  She loves other dogs and would do best in a calm environment.  Nothing is more rewarding than watching the transformation of a bereft dog into a happy, affectionate, social companion/
