I'd love to be your buddy!

Jax is a beautiful Havanese mix who came from a hoarder.  He's only about 2 years old and is super affectionate and sweet with his foster family and loves the kids and his other four-legged friends.  Jax is very active and needs a lot of stimulation and another playful dog in the home.  He's a pro at fetch and loves a good game of tug of war.  Jax will give you a warm welcome when you come home by literally giving you a hug!  He's perfectly housebroken and even knows how to ring a string of bells on the door when he wants to go out!  Check out the video :)  Jax is apprehensive around strangers who visit the home.  He'll bark at them nervously while retreating.  However, when he's away from his home he's receptive to all people including children.  Although Jax loves his foster dad, he seems more fearful of strange men than women.  Jax is a door-dasher so it's crucial to have a secure gated yard and to be aware when opening doors.  Jax would do best with an experienced owner who can help him adjust to new people in addition to having a playful dog in the house.   Kids are a plus and a yard is a must.
