Venus is a unique mix of  (best guess) chihuahua and Italian greyhound.  Her stunning blue eye and beautiful merle color is quite the head-turner.  She's about 4 years old and 14 pounds.  Poor Venue was turned into a shelter in Lancaster because they were moving and they couldn't take her with :(  Right now Venue is very sad and confused but still sweet enough to give me a kiss and look at me with sorrowful eyes.  I held her and told her I would find her the best forever home there is.  I can tell she's a sweet docile girl who loved her owners deeply and I'm positive she will come out of her shell and blossom into the affectionate happy dog she was before she was betrayed.  Venus gets along with other dogs.  Open your heart and give her a chance.
