Bailey is an Irish Terrier mix who's about a year and a half old and weighs about 27 pounds.  Although her size is considered medium, Bailey thinks she's a lap dog. She loves to play with toys and run around in the backyard and is perfect with kids.  She is being fostered by a family with two little girls who love to smother her with kisses.  She's super affectionate and loves to cuddle.  Bailey LOVES other dogs and it is clear that she is much more socialized with dogs than people, therefore it's a necessity that she go to a home with another dog.  She is very hand shy and nervous around people she doesn't know, especially men.  She would do best in a female-only home, although with patience and encouragement she will probably overcome it.  Bailey has to have a house with a yard since at this point she does not walk on a leash and is a bolter, so a completely secure yard is a must.  Bailey is housetrained and up to date on shots, spayed and chipped.  If you're interested in adoption, please fill out the application on bichonsandbuddies.com.
