I'd love to be your buddy!

Button is an adorable Poodle/Shih Tzu mix who is approx 8 years old and weighs 14 pounds.  His owner turned him into the shelter and they listed him as 11 years old which our vet thinks is highly unlikely (and you will too if you meet him).  We had his teeth cleaned and they were in good condition and his blood work is perfect.  Button is a sweet and affectionate dog who's very playful with his toys.  He even plays ball with himself as well as chases and retrieves!  He's a quiet guy and very friendly with everyone he meets.  He has a mellow temperament and is a calm but happy dog with good energy.  Button has congenital hip issues (which we've had xrayed) which cause him to be a little bow-legged.  Button would do best in a one-story home.  He also will need a yard.  Although he gets along with other dogs, when he's on leash being walked he does have some leash reactivity when encountering other dogs which is mostly because he bonds with his family and is protective.   Button gets along with other dogs off leash although prefers to be the center of attention in his home.  Button is good with kids and very gentle.
