Howie is a 5 year-old poodle mix who weighs about 35 pounds and is one of the cutest, cuddliest and most playful dogs you will ever meet.  Can you say..."Throw the ball for me please, o.k., again, and one more time!!!"? If Howie were human, he would be the star player on the school baseball team.  This sweet boy not only loves his ball but also loves his people.  We are pretty sure Howie speaks English because he is super smart.  Howie must have a home with a yard as he can be leash reactive on walks when he sees other dogs.  He gets along fine with dogs off leash but like many dogs, he has leash reactivity.  His ideal home would be with people who want a best friend to play ball with and to cuddle with at night while watching TV or taking a nap and either have no kids or older kids.  Howie has an old injury to his back leg which is not apparent, however, xrays revealed the joint has a bit of arthritis in it (which doesn't stop his obsession with playing fetch!) so a single level home would be best.   Howie is completely potty-trained, has had his teeth cleaned, blood work completed and received an excellent bill of health from the vet.
