I'd love to be your buddy!

Hi! My name is Nala and I'm a 7-year-old female poodle mix. I was turned into the shelter by my owner in pretty bad shape - I had a mammary tumor, a bad flea infestation, and my nails were so long one grew into the pad of my foot! Luckily, Bichons and Buddies rescued me and now I'm doing great after some grooming. I also was spayed and had my mammary tumor removed which was benign (non-cancerous)!  

I'm super friendly and love all humans. I might be shy when you first meet me but I warm up quickly! I love to play, take walks (I walk great on a leash!), and cuddle. I do ok by myself but I prefer to be with someone so I'd love to go to a family that's home a lot! My foster family also says I'm super smart. I know my name and learned how to sit in just one day! I’m good on the potty training as long as I can get out 3-4 times each day. I'm usually all white but had a temporary hair discoloration on my back from the fleas I had before. My hair is starting to grow back in white again though and I should be back to myself in a few months! I'm a little skinny but I love food and my foster family is helping me gain some weight. I'm a really quiet dog, but sometimes bark when I'm excited or scared. Speaking of scared, I'm still a little scared of other dogs but am learning how to play. I'm looking for my forever home now and would love for you to visit me!
