I'd love to be your buddy!

Rachel is the quintessential resilient  shelter dog.  Her sweet adoring eyes express her joy for having a fresh start, and her trust remains unwavering.  She was in horrific condition when she came into the shelter, and somewhere along the way (whether in the shelter or not, we do not know) she ended up with bite marks around her neck and shoulder!  When we got her out she looked a bit like Frankenweenie - especially since the shelter shaved her naked. Rachel is between 7 and 9 years old and has had a dental and blood work and is in tip-top shape. Despite her suffering, Rachel's unconditional love, playfulness, and affection shine through.  Just like the fairy tale, Rachel will one day be a swan.
