I'd love to be your buddy!

Dahlia is a Poodle mix who looks like a mini sheep dog.  She's about 7 years old and weighs about 30 pounds.  She is one of the most severe examples of neglect I've seen.  She came into the Lancaster shelter as a stray and was unable to walk because her toe nails were over 4 inches long!  That wasn't the worst of it.  She had maggots in her matted fur on her rear end and in and around her anus!  She was treated at a vet and shaved down in that area.  Dahlia is grateful to be able to walk again and free of pain.  This sweet girl is amazingly loving for all she's gone through and just wants to be pet and loved.  She's a friendly dog and gets along well with other dogs and people.  Dahlia loves going for walks and definitely needs to have that be a routine as it will help get her weight down.  This sweet docile girl deserves a new life filled with love and nurturing.
