Courtesy Postings
In an effort to assist independent rescuers in placing dogs they have rescued from the streets or the shelters, Bichons and Buddies will courtesy post the bios and pictures of these wonderful pooches. If interested in a dog, please fill out our application which will then be forwarded to the individual rescuer. All dogs will be altered, have all shots and be microchipped.
The adoption fee is the same – $250. The determination in placement of the dog is at the sole discretion of that rescuer and Bichons and Buddies makes no representations nor has any input into that decision process
Johnny
Meet Johnny, an adorable 2 yr old and very affectionate little fellow. He and his brother were dumped in the shelter after being found wandering the street hungry and thirsty. His brother was adopted but poor Johnny was left behind to die. We rescued him just moments before he was to be euthanized. He is a sweet and very loving dog looking for a forever loving family.
Jimmy
Jimmy’s owners dumped him at the shelter when he was no longer a young dog. They had no use for this lovebug that only wanted to snuggle and lounge. How horrible it must have felt to be abandoned like that after so many years of giving his family love. Jimmy is a beautiful poodle who’s about 7-8 years old and weighs about 12 pounds. He’s a great little dog who only wants to please you and he loves to be held and just hang out.
Keyla
Keyla is a super sweet Chihuahua girl who weighs 2.5 lbs and is about 3-4 years old. This little munchkin is very vocal needs a lot of attention but since she so small, you can take her everywhere so you’ll always have a buddy! Keyla loves to be carried and is the perfect pocket pooch. She’s housebroken and very well behaved. Keyla is looking forward to a forever home of her own.
Brenda-Courtesy Posting
Brenda is a sweet 2 year old spaniel mix who weighs 8 lbs. She’s very affectionate and well behaved and lovees to be on your lap and give gentle doggie kisses. She gets along well with other dogs and is friendly with strangers and loves to go on doggie walks. She’s be a great addition to any family.
Jazzy – Courtesy Posting
Jazzy is a cute 2-3 year old Lhasa mix who weighs 13 pounds. He’s a happy loveable pooch that gets along well with other dogs. He’s a little cautious when approached by strangers but once allowed to sniff and realize they’re ‘OK” he’s friendly and affectionate.
Billy – Courtesy Posting
Billy is an adoorable 2-3 year old Bichon boy who weighs 10 pound. This lovable, playful pooch gets along well with other dogs and is quite the social butterfly. He loves going on walks and snuggling and has a charming sweet temperment. Like all Bichons Billy prefers to have someone around to shower his love and affection on. He’s a happy-go-lucky guy that is sure to warm your heart.

Truman – Courtesy Posting
Meet Truman, a 1-2 year old Bichon boy weighing 9 pounds. Adorable does not begin to describe this little fellow. He is super sweet and loves everyone he meets. He gets alone great with other dogs, loves walks, lots of cuddles and hanging out with his special family.
He would make an ideal family member in a home where he wouldn’t be left along for long periods of time. He’s a very social dog and loves to have company.

Bruce – Courtesy Posting
Bruce and his brother Bailey, both approx 1 yr old and approx 13 pounds, were rescued moment before they were to be euthanized at the shelter. Both are absolutely AMAZING little dogs. They are well mannered and love people and other dogs. They are very quiet, sweet and affectionate.
Bruce and Bailey MUST be adopted together because they are so bonded. The two together are easier than one dog! These two are really special little fellows who long for a forever home that will love them.
